Freedom........at last

Tyson has been potty trained since he was 2 1/2 years old, but has had to wear pull ups to bed or else, someone has to do some extra laundry in the mornings. Sometimes it is all the sheets and sometimes it might only be underwear, BUT, there is always laundry to do when he insists on wearing underwear to bed because "I am a big boy". Well, finally I am free to do anything I want this morning, ANYTHING other than laundry. WOO HOO!!!! Let's hope for 2 nights in a row. (day #1)

BYU! BYU! BYU!

The other night, while watching t.v., I came across a BYU basketball game, and recognized one of the players. I watched for a couple more minutes and......and saw my husband. It was a game from when he had just gotten back from his mission, and was playing for BYU. So I decided to Tevo it, so that I could show Tyson part of the game. He made me rewind it over and over again the next morning and for about 2 weeks after that, thought that every basketball game on t.v., had his dad playing. Todd got an invite to go to the BYU basketball game the other night, and see his old coach Roger Reed, who was coaching the opposing team. It was so fun to see Todd with some of his old teammates and be back in the arena where I used to go and watch all of his games our first year of dating. It was great to be back there with our 2 kids and see how far we had come in the last 9 years. Tyson, of course enjoyed every minute and kept telling Todd to "just go down there and play". So, now Tyson wants to not only play football, but play basketball "just like my dad does."

Someone is going to be disappointed!!!!

When Santa asked Tyson what he wanted for Christmas, he answered " all I want for Christmas is just everything". He then proceeded to go through a list of about 10 things, just to let Santa know what "everything" is. All month, Tyson has been telling us that he doesnt want lots of things, but just everything, for Christmas. Too bad that what he is getting doesnt even come close to "everything", not even a little bit.

Tyson has finally found someone, other than Todd, to boss around. He doesn't realize that the only reason that she sticks around is not because she wants to listen to him, it is because she is kind of stuck, not knowing how to crawl yet. Little does he know, that very very soon ,she will "pay him back" for all the times that he has taken her things, got in her face, or pushed her out of his way. I can hardly wait for the day!!!!

Secret Agents

For Thanksgiving, we all went to my sister's house in Arizona. Good thing we had "secret agents" to protect us. Thank you Tyson, T-Rex and Isaac for keeping us safe.

Las Vegas Air Show November 07

We went with my brother Taylor and his 3 boys to the air show out at the speedway. It has become a tradition and we always have so much fun. Tyson then talks about jets and airplanes for weeks to follow.

Jai loves her daddy

I have tried non stop for over 6 months, for my little girl to want a pacifier. I hear that it will help to calm a baby more than anything else. And, anyone that knows Tyson will agree that we could use a calm kid, to add to the TYPE A personality of our son. She insists on pulling it out and playing with it instead. This time, she kept it in for 3 hours straight, and we thought that it was a breakthrough. BUT NO...... she hasn't kept it in since that day. Oh well....... maybe next time around??????

Why Why Why???

Well, I kind of got talked into creating a blog. I don't think that I will ever be a good "blogger", but I thought that it would be fun to get in touch with my long lost friends in a "hip" new way. I dont know where I am going to find the time, energy, creativity or even a computer that is working to keep up, BUT........... it is worth a shot.
