CLASSIC SKATING.....

Yep, Classic Skating has a "water park".

A kiddie pool with kiddie slides and some bouncy house slides. Heaven for me because I don't have to get in and heaven for the kids because what could be more fun than bouncy houses with water???

Plus.....the skating rink is transformed into scooter heaven. Does it get any better than a dark room, neon lights, blaring music and snack stand??? It took Jaisa a couple laps around the rink (while knocking other skaters and scooter riders down) to realize it was one way traffic. It was so fun to watch her.

It is hot! There is not pool at my inlaws house, and the thought of having to take all 4 kids to an area pool and closely monitor the middle 2, just wasn't appealing to Todd or myself.

So......why not cool off with a water pinata???

Water pinate : trash bag filled with water.

White trash as it may be (not admitting that we are white trash....though a lot of our actions might suggest otherwise)

Tyson got absolutely soaked and I think Todd enjoyed it just as much as the neighbor boy. Then, it was the friends turn.

He decided he wanted to lay face up.

I would not recommend going on the hottest day of the year..........

I also would recommend to the girl behind the ice cream stand to not be left alone with my 7 year old son. She told him that the blue swirl was the best flavor. She was wrong. He is mad.

Watch out Ms. ice cream server.
